Whilst attending LEAP our young people cover all National Curriculum and statutory requirements. There is one full time teacher and three support staff. Subject specialists from the Meadows School lead on some curriculum areas. Our timetable lends itself to a variety of structured learning opportunities whilst promoting independence, creativity and the development social interaction skills. Curriculum design evolves to meet the needs of our changing groups of learners, with Challenge for All being a key aspect of learning and teaching. At the heart of our work is developing behaviours for learning to promote success. Ranging interventions are timetabled to support individuals and small groups based upon the needs of cohorts.
